Our mission is to empower youth and young adults in underserved communities by integrating clinical care with creative expression and media-based engagement. Through music, spoken word, voice recording, media production, and guided emotional development, we cultivate a transformative space where individuals can express themselves, build confidence, and develop the tools needed for healing, growth, and lifelong resilience.

A Journey Fueled by Purpose and Passion
In 2023, Stan Nash founded Major Change Youth and Adult Support Services of California to address the need for accessible behavioral health services and creative support in underserved communities. With over 30 years of experience as a music producer, mentor, and advocate—and more than a decade in healthcare operations—Stan developed a program model that combines clinical care, mentorship, and creative expression.
Through a partnership with Black Unicorn, which provides licensed clinical services, and through structured mentorship programs, Major Change delivers trauma-informed care, peer support, and guided expression activities that promote emotional wellness and personal growth.
Rooted in the belief that “a lack of expression can lead to depression,” the organization creates safe, engaging spaces where individuals can build confidence, process experiences, and develop the tools needed for long-term stability. Inspired by a legacy of service, Major Change continues to expand access to care through a collaborative, mentorship-driven approach.
