In 2023, Stan Nash founded Major Change Youth and Adult Support Services of California after witnessing the urgent need for accessible mental health care and creative mental health support outlets in underserved communities.
For over two decades, Stan has worked as a music producer, mentor, and advocate—utilizing music therapy for teens and storytelling to help others find their voice. His experience as a Director of Business Operations for a nationwide healthcare company over the past 10 years provided him with firsthand insight into the systemic gaps in behavioral health services, particularly for under-resourced populations.
Stan believes that “a lack of expression can lead to depression.” This conviction inspired the creation of Major Change: a nonprofit dedicated to offering licensed mental health counseling, voice expression sessions, trauma-informed care, and no-cost creative therapy programs.
This mission is deeply personal. At age 15, Stan lost his mother, the founder of Ebony Innovators, a nonprofit that provided concerts, amusement parks, and joyful experiences to underserved children. Her legacy of care lives on through Major Change.
Stan also launched Majbot and Friends, a free educational animated series teaching emotional regulation, manners, safety, counting, and more. All educational content is officially licensed to Major Change and available at AllKidsLearn.com, ensuring global access to healing and learning.
This isn’t just a program — it’s a purpose, rooted in youth mentoring. And Stan’s heart is in every step of it.
